Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what we need to quote your job, do the work and get your parts back to you. We don't sell it, rent it or trade it.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms. Your name, email address, phone number, the address your parts go back to, and what you tell us about your parts and the finish you want.
- What you tell us when you buy something. Shopify runs this store and handles the checkout, so when you pay a deposit or buy anything else, Shopify and our payment provider process your order and payment details. We never see or hold your full card number.
- Basic information about your visit, collected by Shopify: which pages you looked at, what brought you here, your browser and device, and your rough location from your network address. Shopify and we use cookies for this and to keep your basket working.
- Your email address, if you sign up for news from the shop. Only if you ask for it.
Why we have it, and how long
To quote your job, do the work, take payment, ship your parts back and answer you afterwards — and to keep records of jobs and payments for as long as the law requires us to. A quote request reaches us as an email and is not stored anywhere else.
Who else sees it
- Shopify, which runs the store and the checkout for us.
- Our payment provider, to take the payment.
- The shipping carrier, so your parts can get to you.
- Anyone the law obliges us to tell, and nobody else. We do not sell your information.
Email from us
If you've asked for shop news you can stop it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails. Email about your own job isn't marketing and will keep coming while the job is live.
What you can ask us to do
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Send the request through our quote page, with enough detail for us to find your job, and we'll answer by email within 30 days.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for what a site should do with it, so this site does not change its behavior when it gets one.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with its date.
